2020 Chevrolet Equinox

There are four different Equinox trims available for 2020: L, LS, LT, and Premier. All four are available in one of 10 different paint colors. It generates 170 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque and gets you 31 mpg in the city. The engine pairs with a six-speed automatic transmission.

If you are planning to haul anything on your adventure, the available 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine makes 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. It can tow up to 3,500 pounds and works with a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Once you step inside this comfortable, five-passenger SUV, you'll find it has plenty of space. If you don't need all five seats fold, down the 60/40 split rear seat and enjoy up to 63.9 cubic feet of cargo space. There is also a hidden cargo compartment under the rear floor for items you want to keep out of sight.

If you run into tire issues on the road, you'll be happy to know that all of the trims, except the L, include a 16-inch compact spare tire with a steel rim.
