I was in fir an oil change and tire rotation. Service advisor stated a recall on our airbag system. No problem. We can do it all. 2 hours after we dropped it off, received the text it was done. Picked up the vehicle at 220pm...before we exited the parking lot, Service Airba light comes on. Go find our advisor, he informs us all the tech are gone home. We will have to bring it back on Monday....my question to him, " Is it safe to drive?" Yes sir it is was his reply. Wife takes the vehicle back on Monday a.m....waits 2 hours to find out the tech had broken something during the recall work. Service advisor orders part, due in on Wednesday...Service advisor off on Wednesday.. sets appointment for 8:00 am on Thursday...then the vehicle is repaired and it's working so far. 1st time at your dealership was not a very good experience....4 hours of wasted time and 2 trips from Trinity to your dealership didn't make us very happy. Juan Soto was extremely professional and courteous...he was trying to fix something that was not his fire to put out. Completely satisfied with all he did for us.

The serviced department was great to work although I made a mistake as I thought; I had the service and to come to find out I do not have the service in contract . Service department tried to find it in the contract but it was not there and, after all the research we found that I had not purchase the service. I had an appointment to have the oil changed in my 2022 Corvette on Friday March 21 at 10:30 AM. I arrived a half hour EARLY at 10:00, and was told that job would be completed in 2 hours. I waited and checked on the status at 12 noon and was told the work on the car had still not started and was not given any future time as when I might expect the work to be started, let alone be completed. I was needless to say very upset about this lack of total lack of concern by Vann York Service Dept personnel . Andy Beeman, the Service Mgr. was nowhere to be seen! I left w/o getting the oil changed! This is not the first time Vann York Service Dept personnel have dropped the ball on me with my Corvette. I am seriously considering purchasing a 2025 Vette, and have already talked to Tyrone Rease about this but am having second thoughts about Vann York due to the Service Dept issues.

Tanner was quite knowledgeable about the Buick Envision. We love that he is not pushy or arrogant. He could slow down just a tad when flying through the screens to show you things, but he was good to work with. We paid cash but the finance guy did tell us about your 0.9% financing in case we were doing a HELOC or something. But we weren’t. Please do wipe the inside of the doors when delivering the car post wash- that area needed attention but otherwise was good.

I had made an appointment online, which was great to be able to do that. However when I arrived for my appointment for a 5,000 mile check-up and a state inspection, I waited 2 hours and 15 minutes for them to complete the service. No came and told me they were running behind and no one apologized. The customer service was terrible! After an hour and a half I asked how much longer it would be, again, no one apologized or really seemed to care that I waited so long. Then when I went to pay they charged me for the 5,000 mile check-up which was supposed to be free. Again I had to wait 15 minutes for them to clear up that error.

My experience at the dealership was very good. Phillip is Excellent and the type of person you like to deal with. They made the repairs as expected I have no problem with this part of my visit. However I am frustrated with my new GMC Canyon it only has 12K miles and this is my fourth trip getting the same issued repaired. My front camera has failed twice, what scares me about this is both times it failed the truck slammed the brakes on and scared me to death!! Luckily both times there was nothing in front of or behind me. These two incidences have me very leary of this system I pray it doesn't do this on the interstate with me and cause an accident. These two incidents happened at around 40 mph and that was scary enough. Any info on this appreciated. I feel this is a benefiscal system when working properly but in my case I am scared of it now.

I came to have the rear power lift gate looked at because it was not working. I had done some research on my own prior. The service advisor was not knowledgeable. When he called me back and told me the shruts needed replacement I questioned that so then he checked with technician and came back and said well we could also replace the rear gate power lock as well. I was not confident in their diagnosis and felt they were trying to add charges. I took the car back and had a second opinion.

First of all, I had coupons for the oil change and for the front brakes. I received a call from the service advisor giving me an estimate which for the brakes was over $450, and the coupon was for $169. Was told that the coupon was for "a lesser kind of brake pads." I can't help but wonder if this was a "bait and switch" by the mechanics. Then I was told the $169 brakes were not in stock, would be in the next day. I DO NOT blame my service advisor, he was only relaying info to me from the mechanic.

We know that service centers are busy…and expect to wait on service if we arrive without an appointment. That said, we made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation for 9:00 this past Monday morning. I arrived just before 9 and didn’t get out of there until 11:30. The service writer did make it better by giving me a coupon so the service ended up being free of charge…but to spend the morning at the dealership for what I would consider to be routine service was not ideal…and if they have to give them all away because of their speed…it can’t be too profitable.

On the morning of June 23rd, I dropped off my vehicle around 8:00 AM for a scheduled 11:00 AM service appointment. By 4:45 PM, having received no updates, I called the service center to check on the status of my vehicle. The gentleman I spoke with informed me that the vehicle was just then being worked on. My concern lies with the lack of communication throughout the day. Aside from an initial text message at 8:15 AM confirming my vehicle was with the service center, I received no further updates. I do appreciate the gentleman’s apology when I arrived to pick up my vehicle, but this is now the second consecutive service visit where I’ve experienced this same issue. It’s frustrating, especially given the effort made to contact me for scheduling service—an effort that unfortunately did not extend to keeping me informed during the actual servicing of my vehicle. Ongoing communication is essential to a positive customer experience, and I sincerely hope steps will be taken to improve this aspect of your service process. He offered to do the service for free. Finally my car was ready at 4:30. Think their best service managers left last year.

They quoted a price to replace one tire that had a screw in it. When it came time to pay the price was $150 more. We went ahead and paid the price because we were in a hurry. We then went back to question them about it and they took the $150 back off. Really? They were definitely trying to pull the wool over our eyes and steal our hard earned money. I have purchased two brand new cars from this dealership and use them for service. If they are going to try to steal from me every time I take something up there I guess they are going to force me to go somewhere else.

I had no problem with my service experience however, when I piurchased my preowned vehicle, I purchased a $1,900 extended coverage policy. At the time of purchase I was told that everything was covered. Well, here we go, I had a problem with my vehicle and was told " that's not covered". It cost me $305 on top of the "everything is covered" policy. I asked for a copy of my policy so I will know what is covered and what is not. I was not provided with what I asked for and was told that was a GM product. I guess I will be contacting GM to ask for something that should have been provided at the time of sale. How do you think I feel after after paying for "everything is covered" and at the time of my first claim, I'm told "that's not covered". WOW!

I purchased a brand-new truck from your dealership for nearly $100,000. At only 7–8k miles, it developed a persistent brake squeaking issue that your service department has been unable to resolve. Yesterday, I picked the truck up after leaving it with you for two weeks. This was the second time I’ve had to drop it off, yet there is still no clear plan, no timeline, and no guidance from GM on next steps. To make matters worse, during the first visit your service team chose to grind down half of the brake pads. That decision unnecessarily shortened the life of brand-new parts instead of doing the proper repair — replacing them. On a vehicle of this cost and quality, this is unacceptable. At a minimum, new brake pads should have been installed. I run a service business myself, so I understand that challenges arise and parts need replacement from time to time. But what I’ve experienced here represents a complete service failure, with no accountability or resolution offered. This issue must be corrected immediately with new brake pads installed and a proper long-term fix identified. Please escalate this matter and confirm what specific actions will be taken to resolve it.

On Friday 8/15, we went to Vann York GMC to test drive two vehicles. The sales associate, Lynn Mallow, misrepresented available inventory. She attempted to steer us to a preowned vehicle by claiming they had no new stock. She only stopped when my son advised her he had reviewed the online listings and already walked the lot to confirm they were there. She misrepresented features that were not on the VIN I purchased. She misrepresented a $1495 dealer package's cost breakdown, which was in actuality just the destination charge of $1395 plus $100 for advertised as free services and the floor liners. She refused to honor the advertised price, incorrectly stating first that it was a different VIN, and failing that attempt, then that the dealer had added extra features. She inflated the trade-in value of my vehicle after we insisted on the advertised price. We assume she did this to retain more commission from the resulting higher sales price before trade-in. She then told us my vehicle better be in "mint" condition. She misrepresented my credit score during disclosure, stating it was 714, and that it was low, to excuse unfavorable loan terms. The actual score was 814, confirmed by Experian. She delayed the sale by over 5 hours, so that we would have to bring the trade-in the next day. The following day, she had called in without making arrangements for our appointment with other staff. We stood in the middle of the showroom for nearly an hour without assistance after asking for help. My email had been keyed incorrectly during the sale, resulting in all documents being sent to the wrong email. Fortunately the email address was unclaimed. The sales staff wanted us to just leave our keys and title to the trade-in on the corner of an unattended desk and leave. My son then requested the general manager, Joseph English. He was very professional, and went out to assess the trade-in personally, and provided handwritten confirmation of receipt. This ended up being necessary, as my husband was named first on the title, and Mr. English made arrangements for him to sign the title at his rest home over an hour away. The following Monday, Lynn called to apologize for her absence, but when my son mentioned the additional concerns, she became irritated and hung up on him. My son called the dealership, and Mr. English assured us he would handle this. Lynn called again on Wednesday as if nothing had happened. My son advised her that we had asked Joseph for no further contact from her, and she again hung up on him. Two weeks later, she had not contacted our insurance office as promised during the sale. My husband went in person to find she had not notified the agent of our purchase at all.

I went in for an inspection on Friday and sat in the waiting room for 4 hours!!!! I went out to find out after a couple of hours and said they I needed Wind shied wipers, but no one came in and ask me and the people working on my car were waiting also. Then they said it would be a half hour before it was done, after another hour, I went back to find what was going on and they said it would be ready in a sec, after another hour I went back out and my car was ready, but they never came in to tell me. I was very upset, I felt I didn't matter. Probably will go somewhere else next time. Very disappointed at the service there.

The service manager was OUTSTANDING and the service team did a great job on my vehicle including detailing it like brand new. The only issue I had was the service advisor that checked me out! Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name he was a younger guy, slender, with tattoos. He was using a hover board to get around some. When I brought the vehicle in I didn’t know I had to present all coupons at time of service ESPECIALLY YOUR coupons. I honestly figured since they were your coupons you would do the right thing and apply them to the ticket to take care of your customers to keep them coming back. I did ask the service manager who took my vehicle in to apply all the coupons he could. I’m guessing he thought that was a joke. So when I picked up my vehicle it was much more than expected. The young man that checked me out seemed very inconvenienced about me asking to apply the coupons. He told me that I should have done that when I brought the vehicle in. Unfortunately other places don’t operate the same way and I wasn’t trained on how to present coupons at your dealership that I drive 30 minutes to get to due to loyalty since I bought my truck from you. I believe the service advisor that checked me out could use some training on how to handle this in the future as well as how body language, facial expressions, and verbiage drastically impact a customer’s buying experience! The service manager did take care of all of the adjustments after I had to ask to speak to him and he gave me zero hassle about it and was very professional. I also recommend when customers bring their vehicles to you that you ask if they have any coupons they would like to use today since your expectations are to present at check in. This could save some headaches

The frustration with my 11/11/25 Vann York service visit was precipitated by the fact that service advisor did not create a service document detailing the work to be done including costs and present me with a copy that I could review before I left the vehicle. This caused confusion about the service I wanted done and the cost of the service. The service advisor called later, and while discussing the service being done, he mentioned an oil change. I told him that I didn’t want or need an oil change as I had just performed the oil change myself 5 days earlier. He immediately stopped the call to run back to the service area to stop the oil change. He called back later and said they had not started the oil change so he was able to stop it. He then quoted the cost for the transmission service, front differential oil change and tire rotation. The cost quoted for the transmission and differential oil change jobs was higher than what I was quoted on the phone when I called to set up the appointment on 11/10. We worked out the cost issue on the phone. I picked up the car at 5:45 pm on 11/11. I was presented a bill which included the oil change. When questioned about it, the service advisor said it was on the bill because he had initially entered it, but it was not charged and he assured me they didn’t change the oil. On the way home, I checked the oil status and noticed it was 100%. I know it was 98% when I brought the car in, so I knew they had changed the oil. When I got home I looked under the car and noticed a blue oil filter; I had installed a black Wix oil filter. This was very upsetting to me because I had just installed the kind of oil I wanted (Mobile1 extended performance with Wix extended performance filter) and Vann York just drained it out and replaced it with an oil and filter that I didn’t want. It was also upsetting that the service advisor assured me that they did not charge the oil. Also, while I was looking under the car, I noticed transmission fluid everywhere which was dripping on my driveway. So they didn’t even take the time to clean up after dumping the transmission fluid. That’s sloppy work and doesn’t give me a lot of confidence about the skill and conscientiousness of the person doing the service. Now, I have to take the car to a diy car wash and clean the underside of the car. I’m 73 years old and I’ve been to countless dealerships and service centers in my lifetime. My experience with Vann York ranks among the worst of the places I’ve visited. At this point, I don’t think I have enough confidence in your service center or your procedures to ever visit again.

Poor customer service! In past things have been very good at the service department but has definately changed. First the female checking in could not even spell Huntington. I asked for inspection, oil change and check anything else. Got an email saying critical to have air filter and suggestions for other things. I checked air filter. Got phone call from this female and could only undertstand a few words. She kept asking about service and I kept saying I had already done on line. Got msg inspectiong finished and went to pick it up and it wasn't ready. Went back about 5:30, and found out they had done everything on the list that was recommended!!! $2,500. I explained that No that was not what I had told them to do. NO APOLOGY ! Acted as if I was lying. Finally said they would check the phone calls. Is it legal to record phone calls without letting someone know? The work was done so I paid the bill. Again, I was not believed and no apology. I am not asking for anything from Vann York but want people to be aware of what may be happening. BTW I am an old, fat white woman. Would they have believed a 30 year male? Also I am a CPA and my profession requires a code of conduct in my professional life and my personal life. I had no reason to lie.
