To start with, the standard engine for the Sierra 1500 is the TurboMax. It delivers 310 horsepower at 5600 rpm and 430 lb.-ft. of torque at 3000 rpm. However, if you want more power, three engine options are available: a 5.3L EcoTec3 V8, a 6.2L EcoTec3 V8, and a 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine.
The 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine is the best way to maximize your 1500’s potential. This engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission to generate 305 horsepower at 3750 rpm and 495 lb.-ft. of torque at 2750 rpm. It offers a maximum towing capacity of 13,200 pounds.
Exterior
The Sierra 1500 PRO trim comes with 17-inch all-season blackwall tires and silver wheels. Additionally, the chrome bumpers give your truck a striking appearance. The CornerStep rear bumper adds traction for climbing into your truck bed. Furthermore, cab-mounted cargo lamps provide lighting for loading and unloading in the dark. Solar-absorbing glass windows help maintain a cooler cabin when parked in direct sunlight.

The front bench is a 40/20/40 split bench that has a built-in storage compartment beneath its seat cushions.
