Trim Levels of the 2024 Chevrolet Malibu

Since its debut in 2013, the 8th generation Chevy Malibu continues to hold its own as a reliable midsize sedan for families. The 2024 Chevrolet Malibu comes with great looks, a comfortable cabin, and a ton of features across four trims.

LS

The Malibu LS sets the standard for what a base sedan should be. It comes with a 1.5L turbo-four engine mated with a CVT to push out 163 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain comes standard across the lineup, together with a FWD system. The LS is also equipped with 16-inch wheels, power side mirrors, and halogen headlamps.

The LS has a comfortable cabin with premium cloth seats, a six-speaker audio system, and an 8-inch color touchscreen display. You can wirelessly integrate your smartphone into the display through Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and stream your favorite content. A Wi-Fi hotspot is also provided. Chevy Safety Assist comes as standard equipment.

RS

The RS dials up the exterior style with a black front grille, 18-inch aluminum wheels, a rear spoiler, and black bowtie emblems at the front and rear. There’s also a black Malibu badge at the rear. Inside, the RS gains a leather-wrapped steering wheel and an 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat.

LT

Step up to the LT to enjoy even more premium features. It is equipped with 17-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, and LED daytime running lamps. However, you still get halogen headlamps as in the lower trims. Front passengers will now enjoy better comfort with heated front seats, and the driver’s seat has lumbar control.

There’s now a dual-zone automatic climate control system with controls for the driver and passenger. With remote start, you can remotely start the vehicle and turn on the heat or air conditioning. When you step into the vehicle, the cabin will be nice and comfortable.

2LT

The 2LT is the Malibu to go for if you’re seeking ultimate comfort and premium features. The exterior stands out with 19-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlamps, and LED taillights. There’s an available dual-pane power sunroof that opens up to allow fresh air and light into the cabin. The interior looks luxurious with perforated leather-appointed seats.

You will get heated and ventilated front seats, a 6-way power passenger seat with lumbar control, a heated steering wheel, and memory settings for the driver’s seat and side mirrors. 2LT is equipped with the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Plus System, which features an 8-inch touchscreen display with navigation and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. There’s a 9-speaker Bose audio premium system as well.
