Under the Hood

HUMMER fans can choose between the 2X and 3X trims this year, with the 2X offering a standard dual-motor 4WD system. This setup places a motor in the front and one at the rear, delivering an estimated 570 horsepower and 7,400 lb-ft of torque. With the available Extreme Off-Road Package and Watts to Freedom enabled, those numbers rise to 635 horsepower and 9,500 lb-ft.

Standard on the 3X, Watts to Freedom lowers the SUV by two inches and allows the HUMMER to go from 0 to 60 MPH in just 3.5 seconds. All 2025 HUMMER EV SUVs come with a Trailering Package, which includes a trailer hitch, the Hitch Guidance program, and all the necessary components for connecting your trailer to your SUV.

Versatile Driving Technology

Both 2025 HUMMER EV SUV trims come with an electronic transmission range selector mounted to the front console, allowing drivers to use the steering column’s integrated paddle shifters for a thrilling and engaging drive. The Driver Mode Selector also comes standard on both trims this year, offering Normal, Off-Road, Terrain, Tow/Haul, and My Mode. With these versatile driving options, your HUMMER SUV can handle everything from efficient daily drives to ultra-challenging terrain.

The standard adaptive air ride suspension raises the GMC’s ride height by six inches, significantly improving clearance and allowing the SUV to easily overcome obstacles both on and off the road. One of our favorite 2025 HUMMER EV features is the four-wheel steering system, which spins the rear wheels in the opposite direction of the front ones when traveling at slower speeds. The CrabWalk program enables diagonal movement, making low-speed maneuvering easier than ever.

Along with Hitch Guidance and Hitch View, each new HUMMER EV SUV comes with an interior trailer-view camera, a trailer brake controller integrated with the ABS, and a ProGrade Trailering System with additional trailer-cam views.
