Wherever you travel, your phone’s music, maps, messages, and more are always easily accessible using the Equinox’s standard 7-inch touchscreen and Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System. With standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, you can interact with your phone’s apps using touch or voice command. This infotainment system can also be upgraded to a larger 8-inch size with navigation and a 7-speaker Bose premium audio system.

To keep your devices connected to the internet, the Equinox also has standard Wi-Fi hotspot capability. And you can even use your smartphone to stay connected to your vehicle remotely thanks to the complementary 3-year subscription to the OnStar Remote Access Plan. With this service, you can check on your fuel level or tire pressure, or start and stop the engine, all from the myChevrolet Mobile App on your phone.

Sporty Performance

On the road, the Equinox offers drivers an exciting driving experience, with 175 horsepower from its 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a responsive 6-speed automatic transmission. Its EPA-estimated 26 MPG city and 31 MPG highway give you the efficiency you need to travel the road less taken.

Available switchable all-wheel drive can be turned on when it’s needed in slippery conditions, and turned off for better efficiency when it’s not. This system monitors all four wheels and delivers power to the wheels with the best traction, giving you more control on any road surface.

Advanced Safety

Because nothing is more important than safety, the Equinox comes standard with an array of safety features, including Chevy Safety Assist’s advanced safety technologies. These systems can help keep you more alert and aware of dangers on the road. For example, Lane Keep Assist detects lane markings and compares them with the position of your vehicle. If you’ve drifted out of your lane accidentally, it will use a gentle turn of the steering wheel to warn you.

Another one of these technologies is Forward Collision Alert, which monitors the vehicle ahead of you and can alert you if it predicts a collision. After Forward Collision Alert is triggered, Automatic Emergency Braking can apply the brakes to help you avoid or mitigate a collision. IntelliBeam is a driver assistance feature that can automatically switch between high and low beams to avoid causing glare for other drivers nearby.

Stand Out from the Crowd

The 2024 Chevy Equinox is available in four trim levels, with three special edition packages that include their own unique styling features. The RS trim level gets 19-inch Dark Android-painted wheels, a gloss black mesh grille, gloss black roof rails, and a unique lower fascia. Inside, the Jet Black seats are adorned with red stitching, and the cabin features Black Ice chrome accents.

On the Equinox LS, an available Midnight Edition comes in Mosaic Black Metallic paint with 18-inch gloss black wheels and a unique black grille. The Equinox Premier offers the Redline Edition, with its own unique black grille, 19-inch black wheels with red accents, and Black Ice interior accents with a black headliner. And the Sport Edition, also available on the LS, includes a unique black grille and 18-inch gloss black wheels.

Comfort & Utility

The Equinox has room for up to five passengers, and it also has a generous 29.9 cu. ft. of cargo space behind the second-row seats. With the 60/40 split rear seats folded, that space expands to 63.9 cu. ft., offering plenty of room to bring along all your gear. There’s also hidden storage under the cargo floor for sensitive items that you’d like to keep out of sight. An available Hands-free Power Liftgate makes accessing the cargo area even easier.

Not only will your passengers have plenty of room to stretch out, they’ll also be treated to an exceptionally quiet ride, thanks to standard Active Noise Cancellation. This technology not only prevents unwanted sound from entering the cabin, it also uses microphones to detect noise and cancel it. With the available Panoramic Sunroof, everyone gets to enjoy more natural light and views of the world outside. But when the sun gets too bright, the power sunshade keeps the cabin cool.

Driving Convenience

Convenience starts before you even get into the Equinox, with standard Keyless Open and Keyless Start. With this system, you can forget about searching your pockets or purse for your keys because the vehicle can detect a nearby key fob and allow you to unlock the doors and start the engine. You’ll also have the added convenience of standard automatic on/off LED headlamps, which can turn on or off with changing light conditions, or after you exit your vehicle.

For assistance with parking and backing up, a standard Rear Vision Camera turns on when you shift your Equinox into reverse. This display also shows where your vehicle is heading if you continue backing up along the same path. Available Front and Rear Park Assist can further assist you by detecting nearby obstacles at low speeds. And for greater visibility, available HD Surround Vision can show views of different areas around your vehicle to help you travel through small spaces.

Adaptive Cruise Control

If you often find yourself switching your cruise control on and off because the vehicle ahead of you slowed down, you may want to consider the Equinox’s available Adaptive Cruise Control. This system can adjust its speed to maintain a set following distance between your Equinox and the vehicle ahead of you, making highway driving stress-free.
